There are three types of Traditional tatami available at our shop.
T1 is made of tightly woven rice straw and covered with woven rush grass.
T2 and T3 are made of insulation board and covered with woven rush grass. The insulation board is made of compressed wood chips. It also has the same feel and fragrance of traditional Tatami. The woven rush grass have a good fragrance. And the woven rush grass sorted into grades.

There are skilled workmen of making tatami in our shop. They can make custom sizes.

All of our tatami mats for export are the mats of high quality. We send tatami mats to some countries from Japan by air, because we need to keep the tatami mats made of natural materials away from moisture. I'm sorry the transportation charge is expensive, because tatami is big and heavy.
